Hoyt family - Lizzie Conley renter

The 1880 Census of West Union, Fayette Co. shows Lizzie Conley and son (?), Charles C. age 6 boarding with the Daniel and Lizzie Hoyt family.
I have reason to believe that Charles C is my grandfather and Lizzie his mother. I would like to know if there is any connection between these two families - or anything about Lizzie and Charles C. Conley. I did not find them in 1885 with the Hoyt family.
