You are correct and I have solved the mystery ! According to records done by the Fayette County Genealogy Society of West Union, "the Irish Catholic immigrants settled in northern Clermont township in the early 1850's. Services were held in the homes or a log church. A cemetery was established in SECTION 10. The burials in Section 10 were moved to the new cemetery. However when a power line was put through in the 1960's it was discovered that one grave remained". Their records show Agnes, d. 24 Jan 1877, age 58 years; Bridget d. 8 Feb 1890 age 63 (wf. of T.); Catherine, d. 30 Sept 1872 age 16 years; Mary d. 17 Nov 1876, age 24 years and Thomas, d. 15 Dec 1876 for Moriaty burials. Hope this info helps your search.
