Clair Roy Bigelow, 68, of 25 5th Ave SE died Sunday at his home.
He farmed all his life in the Arlington and Maynard areas, living the past year in Oelwein. He was also a grain and bin superintendent for the ASCS office. After retirement, he drove a school bus for the West Central School System.
Services will be held 11 am Wednesday, Sept 19 at the Zion American Lutheran Church in Oelwein, with burial in the Floral Hills Cemetery, Hazleton. Friends may call after 1pm Tuesday at the Brant-Kerns-Jamison Funeral Home in Oelwein.
He is survived by his wife, Maye; a son, Dennis of Cedar Falls; a grandaughter; three sisters, Mrs Burton (Lelah) Warren of Hudson, Iowa, Mrs Ray (Leola) Stoddard of Oelwein and Mrs Warren (Beverly) Soules of Lamont.
He was preceded by his parents and two sisters.
