Funeral Services Held (1981)
Funeral services were held Saturday for Mrs Nina Clair Bigelow of Fayette. Mrs Bigelow 90, died Thursday at St Francis Hospital in Waterloo. She was a retired homemaker, and a long-time resident of the Fayette area before moving to Chandler, Ariz. for several years.
The services were held at 1pm Saturday at the Brant-Kerns Funeral Home in Oelwein with the Rev Paul Sommerville, pastor of Grace United Methodist Church officiating.
Burial was in Grandview Cemetery, Fayette.
Surviving are one son, Clair Bigelow, Arlington; three daughters, Mrs Ray (Leola) Stoddard, of Oelwein, Mrs Warren (Beverly) Soules of Lamont, and Mrs Burton (Lelah) Warren of Hudson; two sisters, Mrs Gladys Bailey of Ipava, Il., and Mrs Leta Rembold of Long Beach, CA.; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
