Funeral services for James H. Donaldson, 93, formerly of Oelwein and Guttenberg, were held Tuesday, Oct. 10, at Brant-Kerns-Jamison, Oelwein, at 1:30 p.m. Burial was in Grandview Cemetery, Fayette.
Donaldson died Friday morning, Oct. 6, at Maple Crest Manor, Fayette, following a lengthy illness. He was a retired drayline operator and a service station owner.
He is survived by two sons, Wayne, Postville, and Gerald, San Diego; two sisters, Carrie Lindgren, Donovan, ILL., and Ruth Postal, St. Petersburg, Fla.; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandchild.
