Funeral services for Ruth June Cook, 80, Arlington, will be held Thursday, Oct. 12, at 1:30 p.m., at United Methodist Church, with burial following in Cass Township Cemetery, Strawberry Point, Kerns-Jamison's are handling arrangements.
Mrs. Cook died Monday afternoon, Oct. 9, at Delaware County Memorial Hospital, Manchester, after a short illness. She and her late husband, Berton, farmed.
Survivors include a daughter, Fairlene Astor, Marion; a sister, Emma Buschhusen, Cedar Rapids; two grandsons, and two great-grandsons.
