Leola M. Stoddard, 82, died Friday evening, Feb. 8, 2002, in Grandview Health Care Center, Oelwein, after a lengthy illness. Services: 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jamison-Schmitz Funeral Home, by the Rev. Darwin Moore. Burial: Woodlawn Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. Tuesday and after 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Survivors include a daughter, Connie Short of Cedar Rapids; and two sisters, Lelah Warren of Hudson and Beverly Soules of Lamont.

Also surviving are a granddaughter, Cindy Poyer of Cedar Rapids; and a great-granddaughter, Sarah M. Poyer of Cedar Rapids.

Memorials may be given in her name to the Ray Stoddard Memorial Scholarship Fund for Law Enforcement.
