LESTER D. JOHNSON

Strawberry Point, Ia. – Services for Lester D. Johnson, 24, who died Thursday at the Oelwein Hospital, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Gill Funeral Chapel with burial in the Wadena Cemetery.

He was born Oct 4, 1924, the son of Walter and Ida (McFarlane) Johnson. He married Hilda Strempke at Manchester on May 8, 1948.

Besides his wife he is survived by his parents at Greeley, four brothers, Ivan and Walter Jr., of Greeley, and Harry and Darrell of Manchester, and three sisters, Mrs. Otto Groth, of Elkport, Mrs. Eugene Wilson, of Ryan, and Doris of Greeley.
