H. Clyde Miner, 78, formerly of 5605 Bjelde Lane, died Tuesday (May 25, 1965) in a Madison nursing home after a long illness.
Mr. Miner was a retired barber. He was born in Randalia, IA., and had been a Madison resident for the last 51 years. He was a charter member of the Madison barber's union, and was a graduate of Upper Iowa University. His wife, Georgia, died in 1953.
He is survived by a son, Kenneth, 5605 Bjelde Lane; three grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. today in the Gunderson funeral home, 5203 Monona Dr. The Rev. Denavan Palmquist, pastor of Messiah Lutheran church, will officiate. Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Friday in the Dunham Grove cemetery at Fayette, IA.
