Elgin Echo, Thursday, 30 July 1896.

Two loads of the Masonic fraternity of Elgin attended the funeral of James J. Percy at Fayette Wednesday. Mr. Percy was an old and respected citizen of Fayette county, a Mason of high standing and a much loved man.
