No obituary of Gilbert Thompson has been published in the Elgin Echo for the reason that we have been unable to obtain data for the same. Let us say however that Gilbert Thompson was a man who held every one of his acquaintances as friends. He was a man of extreme honesty and one that had the confidence of all. His early death was a shock and a grief to all and his family have the sympathy of everyone.
