Elgin Echo, Thur., 30 January 1896.

Last Sunday occurred the funeral of Silas Rogers at Clermont. The services were attended by a large concourse of people, all old friends of the decease. Mr. Rogers was a Mason when living and the obsequies held in his memory were conducted under the ritual of that order.
