Nora Wilson was born near West Liberty, Iowa, Oct. 13th, 1892, and passed from this life Oct. 27th, 1915. She was therefore 23 years of age at the time of her death. She removed from West Liberty and made her home in Cedar Rapids till her marriage to Emery Bennett, August 2nd, 1909, and since which time she has resided in Oelwein and has proven a faithful wife, true mother and a neighbor of high standing.
To Mr. and Mrs. Bennett have been born two children, one of them having preceded the mother in death. The other survives and, with her father must feel the loss of the mother and wife. She is also survived by her mother, who makes her home in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Two brothers and one sister also mourn her loss.
As a mother she was loving. As a wife faithful and as a friend and neighbor proved herself true and worthy of the highest esteem.
The funeral services were held from the Christian church Friday at 2 p.m., where a large number of friends and sympathizers assembled to pay a tribute of appreciation to this good woman. Services were conducted by the pastor of the church, Rev. Chambers. Interment in the West side cemetery.
