Charles Homer Clark, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. C Clark, was born in Fayette, Iowa, February 6, 1870, and died at Oelwein, Iowa, February 17, 1933. He was married June 7, 1894, to Josephine Halen, and to this union four children were born and left to mourn his death. They are, Mrs. Letta Robbins of Roosevelt, Utah; Mrs. Harriet Mangan of Forest City, Iowa; Francis M. Clark of Oelwein and Charles J. Clark of Kemmerer, Wyo. He has been a resident of Oelwein for a number of years and always made a host of friends by his kindness and genial disposition. For some time he has had charge of the public library acting as janitor. The funeral was held at Sacred Heart church Tuesday at 9 a.m., the services conducted by Rev. Habel, and interment was in Woodlawn cemetery.
