Elgin Echo, Thur., 27 June 1918.

Mrs. William Gruver passed away at the home of her daughter, Miss Etta Gruver, in West Union. She was a lady some eighty-five years of age and was the mother of George S., of our town, and W. T. Gruver, formerly of Elgin but now of Port Wing, Wis.. The funeral was held Tuesday from the Methodist church in West Union.
