Elgin Echo, Thur., 27 July 1899.

Mary Bauman, the thirteen years old daughter of Arnold Bauman, died Monday morning at the family home near Elgin. Funeral services were held at the German Baptist church Tuesday, at 2 o'clock p.m., conducted by Rev. Hack, and interment was made in the Elgin cemetery. We are without information for the publication of an obituary notice.
