A telegram came Sunday announcing the death of Mrs. S. S. Ainsworth at the home of her daughter in Bellville, N.Y., asking that arrangements be made for the funeral, which is held at the M.E. church this afternoon, conducted by Rev. Curran. Deceased was for many years a resident of this city and is remembered kindly by her acquaintances. The body was accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. C. G. Jones.

NOTE: This may be Mary A. Ainsworth 1839 - 1906 shown in WPA records as buried in West Union cemetery. S. S. Ainsworth is shown as a school teacher in the Township Biographical Directory of West Union in the History of Fayette County 1878 on this site.
