Christmas night the spirit of Jacob Frieden, who resided east of town, took its flight. He was 76 years of age and has been a resident of this state for many years. He was a man of large acquaintance both here and elsewhere, and those who knew him have naught but the kindest words to say of him. He was a kind neighbor and a true friend and so lived that his memory will be cherished and honored. The funeral services will be held from the Apostolic church Friday afternoon at 1 o'clock. Deceased leaves, besides his immediate family, a large circle of relatives and friends to mourn their loss.
