Elisha Hartsough, a brother-in-law of Rev. H. S. Brunson, died at the home of his daughter in Center township, Oct. 9. He was an old resident of the county, having settled in same in 1849 or 1850 and was a member of the M.E. church and for sometime a licensed preacher therein, hence was well known to most of the early settlers. One of his sons, Wm. Hartsough, was a soldier in the late war and is now presiding elder in the U.B. church.
