Leon Shepard

Leon Shepard, age 85, resident of Bartlesville, died Tuesday, October 10, 1995 at his residence.

Mr. Shepard was born August 5, 1910 at Lima, Iowa to Samuel and Blanche (Foster) Shepard. He was married to Rose Elliot on July 4, 1937 at West Union, Iowa.

Leon was employed with Interstate Power Company in West Union for 35 years until moving to Grove, Oklahoma June 19, 1977. In April of 1991, Mr. and Mrs. Shepard moved to Bartlesville to make their home near their son.

Mr. Shepard is survived by his wife, Mrs. Rose Shepard of the home; 2 daughters, Sandra Eberling of Postville, Iowa and Dixie Valosio of Falls Church, Va; one son, Harold Shepard of Bartlesville; 4 grandchildren, Martin Eberling, Andrew Valosio, Brook Volosio and Angela DeVore and one great grandchild, Alesha DeVore.

Cremation services were under the direction of the Stumpff Funeral Home.
