Lois Irene Boleyn

Funeral services for Lois Irene Boleyn, 48, were held Wednesday, April 23 at the First Baptist Church in Elgin. The Rev. Dan Hulsing officiated at the service with burial in the Elgin Cemetery.

Mrs. Boleyn was born Oct. 11, 1931, the daughter of Chester and Bessie Perry. She received her education in the rural Castalia area and married Raymond Boleyn, Dec. 28, 1948. They resided during their married life in Elgin. She was baptized into membership of the First Baptist Church in Elgin, Dec. 9, 1956 and was a member of the Tabitha Society. Following a lengthy illness, she died Sunday, April 20, 1980.

She was preceded in death by her father. Survivors include her husband; sons, Rev. Lee of Arvada, Col., Dean of Waterloo and Kevin at Hahn AFB, Germany; daughters, Mrs. Richard (Janet) Davis of Rockville, Md. and Mrs. John (Joyce) Chandler of Elgin; mother, Bessie Perry of Postville; brothers, Marvin of Bakersfield, Calif., and Kenneth of Cedar Rapids; and 7 grandchildren.
