SERVICE HELD FOR JESSE GUYER
Jesse Guyer, 77, West Union, died Saturday night, Aug. 3, at Palmer Memorial Hospital, West Union.

Funeral service was held Tuesday, Aug. 6, 10:30 a.m. at St. Olaf Lutheran Church, West Union, with burial in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery, rural West Union.

Burnham-Wood Funeral Home, West Union was in charge of arrangements.

A retired area farmer, he was born November 14, 1907. Survivors include his wife Christine; two sons, Lester, Waterloo, and Russell, West Union; two daughters, Mrs. Clarence (Lucia) Bishop, West Union, and Lyle, Clermont; a sister, Mrs. Richard (Rose) Olson, Clermont.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Opal; his parents, a son, one grandchild and four brothers.
