William Burrow
Funeral services for William Burrow were held Saturday, April 3, 1982 at 1:30 p.m. at the West Clermont Lutheran Church. The Reverend Duane Berg officiated. The Schutte Funeral Service of Postville was in charge of arrangements. Burial was in God's Acres Cemetery at Clermont.
William Burrow, son of Fred and Eureka (Griebenow) Burrow, was born Oct. 11, 1889 near Elgin, Iowa. He passed away April 1, 1982 at Community Memorial Hospital in Postville.
He received his education in the school at Elgin. On Feb. 7, 1917 he was married to Mabel Paulson. To this union 2 sons were born. They lived on a farm most of their lives. In the fall of 1976 he moved to Postville to be near his wife who was hospitalized there.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife; 6 brothers, Herman, Fred, August, Albert, John and Charles; 2 sisters, Ida (Mrs. Dave Erhardt) and Clara (Mrs. Charles Learn).
Surviving are 2 sons, William, Jr. of Cedar Rapids and Robert of Clermont, 5 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and a sister, Anna Fritz of Cedar Falls, Iowa.
