Mrs. Ida L. Walsworth was born in Nebraska Jan. 21st, 1870 and departed this life Jan. 25th, 1926. Soon after her birth her parents moved to town and Mrs. Walworth lived there most of her life in Buchanan and Fayette counties. She leaves her mother, Mrs. W. J. Messenger, one son, four sisters. Irene who lived with her since she was a baby, and friends.
Funeral services were conducted at Hintz's store. Rev. C. R. Ferguson had charge of the service speaking from Matt. 6:6 the text which Mrs. Walworth had chosen for the service a few days before her death. Mrs. Baker and Mrs. Ferguson sang two hymns: "Blest Be the Tie." and "Safe in The Arms of Jesus."
Burial was in Woodlawn cenetery.
