Ruby Muchow, age 88, of West Union, Iowa died Friday, October 6, 2006 at the Good Samaritan Home in West Union, Iowa. Private burial will be in the West Union Cemetery. Burnham-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

NOTE: Ruby, daughter of Louis L. Cornish and Bertha (Kohls) Cornish, was born May 6, 1918 in Clermont, Iowa. Ruby married Guy E. "Soup" Muchow and they had one son, Dennis Muchow, who survives. Ruby was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Guy who died on October 1, 1989, a sister, Hazel Cornish, a brother Aulden Cornish, and a granddaughter, Diane L. Batterson who died January 19, 2004.
