Funeral services were held for
Kenneth George Baych Tuesday,
Oct. 12, at Sacred Heart Church.
The Rev. Fr. Kauffman conducted
services with Brant funeral
home in charge. Burial was in
Woodlawn cemetery.
Kenneth George, son of John
and Thma Baych. was born Aug
8, 1832 in Fuma, Yugoslavia and
was united in marriage to Mary
Miculinich 'May 23, 1906 in Yugoslavia.
They came to this country
in 1909. Two children Lawrence
and Mary were born in Yugoslavia.
Baych moved to Oelwein from Chicago
in July, 1917 and worked as
a machinists helper for the Chicago,
Great Western Railroad, until
his retirement in 1947.
He was preceded in death by his
wife, two sons, and three grandchildren
He is survived by 10 children,
Mary (Mrs. Clarence Bathke); Stella
(Mrs. Roy Benefiel); Donna (Mrs. Walter
Neuman); Ann (Mrs. Wayne Slater);
Agnes (Mrs. Wayne Fox); Louis,
Joseph, Charles, Francis and John,
28 grandchildren; 15 great- grandchildren,
one sister in Yugoslavia and one nephew,
