John Henry Miculinich Jr. was born December 7, 1910
and died at Oakdale Sanitarium, Oakdale, Iowa, October
1, 1928, aged 17 years, nine months and 23 days. He was
the oldest son of Mr. and Mrs. John Miculinich and had a
host of friends and relatives left to mourn his death. He
has been at Oakdale Sanitarium for the past six months
trying to regain his health but all that could be done seemed
futile.Aside from his parents he leaves to mourn a number of
relatives. These are two brother Albert and Stephen; four
sisters, Mary, Louise, Olga of Oelwein and Mrs. Dorothy Helm'
of Portage, Wisconsin; a niece Lucille Helm of Oelwein; aunts
and uncles, Mr. and Mrs. Philip Miculinich of Chicago and
Mr. and Mrs. K. G. Baych and family of Oelwein; cousins
Joseph and Helen Miculinich of Chicago and L. J. Baych, an
uncle of Fort Meade, S.D., also a number of other relatives.Funeral services were held at Sacred Heart church Thursday,
conducted by Father Slowey and burial was in Woodlawn
cemetery. The flower girls and pall bearers were chosen
from S. H. H. S.Oelwein Daily Register - 6 October 1928
