Alice Marie Boettcher was born December
14, 1927 in Banks township as
the second child of John Boettcher and
his. wife Emma; nee Ungerer. She
was baptized January 16, 1928. Ella
Begalske and Minnie Belschner functioned
as sponsor's.
When 18 months old, the little girl
was very sick and partly paralyzed.
Although slowly recovering, she suffered
from attacks of a nervous disease
since then. It was such a severe
attack to which she succumbed Tuesday,
September 26 after an agony
lasting about seven hours.
Her departure is mourned by her
parents and two small brothers,
grandparents on the mother's side and
grandmother on the father's side and
many uncles, aunts, and other relatives
and friends.
Interment took place September
29th with Rev. F. Braun, pastor of
Trinity Lutheran church officiating at
the services.
