Services for Donald E. Kobriger, age 62, of Evansdale, Iowa will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, December 23, 1975 at the Chapel of Memories West, in Waterloo, Iowa with cremation followed by burial in the Garden of Memories Cemetery at Waterloo, Iowa. Rev. Daniel Canion of the Evansdale, Iowa St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church officiated at the service. Flag folding rites by the Carl Letney Amvet Post #31 will be part of the service.

Mr. Kobriger died at 4:03 a.m. Sunday, December 21, 1975 at the St. Francis Hospital in Waterloo. Donald was born November 14, 1913 at Castalia, Iowa, the son of George and Elsie (McMartin) Kobriger. He married Gladys Olson on April 20, 1940 in Dubuque, Iowa. He was employed by the John Deere Waterloo Tractor Works, retiring in 1970. He served with the Navy in World War II.

He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Gladys; 1 son, Donald G.(Donna) Kobriger, 6 daughters; Mrs. Sharrol (Charles) McEnroe of Cedar Fall, Mrs. Mary (Larry) Csukker of Waterloo, Iowa, Mrs. Susan (Kevin) McBride, also of Waterloo, Iowa, Janet Kobriger of Des Moines, Iowa, and Rosalee and Rebecca, both at home; 8 grandchildren; a brother Daniel Kobriger of Davenport, Iowa and 3 sisters, Mrs. Julia Wedo of Clermont, Iowa, Mrs. Marjorie Hager of Castalia, Iowa, and Mrs. Ione Hoopman of Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
