Rites Monday
For John Luther, 66

Funeral services have now been
set for John Hugh Luther, 66, who
died Friday at his home in Oelwein.
Services will be Monday at 2 p.m.
at the First Christian church
with the Rev. S. R. Walt officiating.
Burial will be in Oelwein.
A retired boilermaker helper
for the CGW, he is survived by his
wife, Bess (nee:Gardner) three sons:
Martin, Oelwein;Jack, Des Moines
and George of California; two
daughters, Mrs. Ralph Willett, Water-
loo; Mrs. Maxine Reynolds, Des Moines;
and a sister, Mrs. Joe Hunter, Oelwein.
Body lies in state at Brant funeral home.
