FUNERAL THURSDAY
FOR EMANUEL GARDNER

Funeral services for Emanuel
Gardner, who died Monday in
Waterloo. will be held at 8 o'clock
Thursday morning at Sacred Heart
Church. Mr. Gardner, a former Oelwein
resident, is survived by his wife
and three daughters, Mrs. R.M. Stearns,
Mrs. Louis Rose of Waterloo and
Mrs. Emery Bennett of this city.
Also surviving are one sister, Mrs.
J. H. Luther of Oelwein and eight
brothers and half-brothers: Ben
of St. Louis, Joe of Stillwater,
Minn. and Clayton of Fayette, W. A.
of Oelwein, James of Washington,
Major Lester E. of California, Tom
and Clayton of Fayette.
Services are in charge of
Brant's funeral home and burial
will be at Woodlawn.
