The Rev. S. R. Wall of First Christian church will officiate
at funeral services Thursday at 2 pm at Brant Chapel
for Ernest H. Underwood, 77.
- Mr. Underwood, a retired blacksmith, died at Bakke
Convalescent Home in Oelwein at 11:30 pm Monday.
- He is survived by two daughters, Opal, Mrs. F. J. Bwalwan
and Dorothy, Mrs. J. C. Steggall, both of Oelwein.
- He was born in Hazleton December 17, 1880 the son of
Hamilton and Mariah Webb Underwood.
- Burial will be in Oakdale cemetery at Oelwein.
