Contributor: Connie Ellis (OLSON FAMILY RESEARCHER)Deborah M. Holder, age 55, of Cedar Falls, Iowa died from complications of diabetes at her home on Tuesday, April 19, 2011. Services were held Tuesday, April 26 at Nazareth Lutheran Church in Cedar Falls, Iowa. Burial was in the St. Peter Lutheran Cemetery in Eldorado, Iowa. Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home, Cedar Falls, Iowa handled the arrangements.
Deborah Marie was born October 22, 1955 in West Union, Iowa. She was the daughter of Milfred Otto and Lorraine "Peg" (Martin) Schultz. She was baptized at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Eldorado and was confirmed at Zion Lutheran Church in Hudson, Iowa. She was a 1979 graduate of Cedar Falls, Iowa High School. Debbie graduated from the Hawkeye Institute of Technology with an associate's degree. On October 2, 1993 she married Blaine M. Holder in Virginia City, Nevada. Deborah was employed at KWLO Radio, where she worked with production systems.
She was preceded in death by her father, Milfred Schultz; 3 uncles, Bud Martin, Archie Martin, and James "Jim" Cline; and 2 cousins, Larry Cline and Dennis Cline.
She is survived by her husband, Blaine Holder of Cedar Falls, Iowa; her mother, Lorraine "Peg" Schultz Borglum of Cedar Falls, Iowa; 4 sons, Matthew Reisinger and Christopher Reisinger, both of Reno, Nevada, Kyle Holder of Fairbanks, Alaska and Aaron Holder of Anchorage, Alaska; a daughter, Virginia Holder of Cedar Falls, Iowa; 2 grandchildren, Brandon and Kasey Reisinger; a brother, Gil (Dianne) Schultz of Cedar Falls, Iowa; a sister, Gail (Bill) Corwin of Cedar Falls, Iowa; an uncle, Adrian (Bernie) Martin of Hawkeye, Iowa; 2 aunts, Wilma Cline and Bev Martin, both of West Union, Iowa; 3 nephews, 2 nieces; 3 great-nieces, several cousins and many friends.
