Alice F. Waterman, age 81 of Waterloo, Iowa, formerly of Oelwein, Iowa died Friday, April 1, 2011 at Ravenwood Nursing & Rehab Center in Waterloo, Iowa of natural causes. Funeral services were held at 10:30 on Thursday, April 7 at First United Methodist Church with burial in Woodlawn Cemetery, Oelwein, Iowa. Kearns, Huisman-Schumacher Chapel Funeral Home on Kimball in Waterloo, Iowa was in charge of the funeral arrangements.

Alice was born December 30, 1929 in Oelwein, Iowa, daughter of David E. and Edith (Price) Watson. She married Leonard G. Waterman on July 18, 1948 in Oelwein, Iowa. He died October 22, 2008.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, a son Russ Waterman; a brother, George Watson and 2 sisters, Eleanor Sirbid and Arlene Anthony.

She is survived by her son, David Waterman of Waterloo, Iowa; 2 grandchildren, Josh Waterman and Maria Weaver and 2 great-granddaughters, Samantha Waterman and Tessa Weaver; and a sister, Maxine Hunter of Surprise, Arizona.
