Mrs. W. H. Davis was born in Winnebago
county, Illinois, March 24, 1861,
and died at her home in Maynard
March 24,1904, aged 43 years. She
was married to W. H. Davis March 24,
1883, and their home was in Maynard
until 1889 when they moved to Tacoma,
Washington, where Mr. Davis was
killed in a street car accident July 4,
1900. Mrs. Davis never recovered
from the shock of his death and had
been in failing health for some time.
Last fall she returned here hoping the
change of climate might benefit her,
but death came as a happy release
from suffering. Three children are
left orphans and a number of other
relatives to mourn the loss of a loving
mother, a dear sister and true friend.
Our sympathy goes out for the motherless
children and friends.
