—Word was received here Friday
morning of the death of John Housden,
of Des Moines, father of Mrs. J. C.
Ford, of this city. Deceased was a
man of excellent character and was
highly esteemed by a large circle of
friends in the capitol city. Mr. Ford
went to Des Moines Friday. James
Mealey and wife and Father O'Connor
attended the funeral obsequies which
took place in Des Moines at nine o'clock
Monday morning.
