Mrs James Kniffin died Dec 24th,
1896, aged 46 years, after a long illness,
never rallying from the effects
of the typhoid fever and diphtheria.
The father and two daughters are left
to mourn her loss. The daughters are
rapidly recovering. The quarantine
has been raised from their home and
every precaution taken that no germs
of the disease may be left in the house
and while the whole community
sympathize with the thrice bereaved
family; we rejoice that the disease has
been so thoroughly stamped out.
