E. W. Webster, 229 Fourth Avenue S.E., passed away
suddenly this morning at Mercy Hospital following a
heart attack. He was about -- years of age.
Mr. Webster was engineer on the Eastern division of
the Chicago Great Western Railroad and reported for
his run to Stockton, Illinois when he was stricken
shortly after entering the engine cab.
His wife and family who are visiting in California are
expected to arrive in Oelwein Wednesday.
The body was taken to the Hintz Funeral home pending
arrangements.
