Oelwein, Ia. --- Dr. S. K. Hazlet, 65 died Sunday at his
home at 105 Fourth Avenue, S. E. Dr. Hazlet suffered
a stroke of paralysis 25 months ago and had been
bedfast ever since. He was a pioneer veterinarian,
interested in civic affairs and prominent in the Order
of Eastern Star and the Knights Templar lodges.
Besides his widow, he leaves three daughters, Helen,
LeMars, Ia.; Ruth, Columbus, Ohio and Blanche, Des
Moines. Also two brothers and one sister, L. A. Hazlet
of Iowa City; E. E. Hazlet of Rio, Wis. amd Mrs. T. F.
Hageman, Conatantia, N. Y.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 2 p. m. at First
Presbyterian church, conducted by the Rev. L. W. Hauter.
