Sunday the 20th, our town was startled
by the sad news of the sudden
death of Mrs. F. C. Austin, daughter
of Mrs. Sherwood. She was taken sick
about 2:00 p. m. and died about 10:00 am
Sunday. Services at home Monday
at 1:00 p. m. Sermon by Rev. Linn,
of Hawkeye. Text ' ''Watch therefore
for ye know neither the day nor the
hour wherein the Son of Man cometh,
Deceased was born in 1850. Buried in
Dunham's cemetery beside her three
infant children and daughter May, and
leaves a husband and two sons to mourn
her death. A very large number of
friends and relatives attended the
funeral.
