Helen Morrow, 85, of route 3, Blairs Ferry Road NE,
died Tuesday morning following a long illness. She
had been a Cedar Rapids resident for 16 years.

She was born Sept 22, 1882 in Bulgaria. She was
a member of St. Matthew's Catholic church and was
a Gold Star Mother.

Surviving are six daughters, Mrs. Ralph VanDerMillen
of Cedar Rapids, with whom she made her home;
Mrs. Pete (Minnie) Kristoff of Gary, Ind.; Mrs. Joseph
(Helen Peterman) Breeding of Newell; Mrs. Frank
(Juanita) Gosse of Oelwein; Mrs. Arthur (Bernice) Uhls
of Sacramento, Calif. and Anna of Bulgaria; 18 grand-
children and several great-grandchildren.

Services at St. Matthew's Church by the Rev. Mark
Nemmers. Burial Mt. Calvary cemetery.
