Another one of Fremonts early settlers,
and one respected and honored,
has gone from our midst. Andrew
Ritchie after a short illness of about
one week passed quietly away. He
was born in Ayrshire, Scotland, Feb.
24, 1821 and died Feb. 19,1892. He
was married to Anna Armour in 1854
and in the same year came to America,
and by industry and square dealing
they accumulated quite a considerable
wealth. He leaves five sons and
four daughters to mourn his loss, and
the whole community feels the blow
and extend their heartfelt sympathy
to. the family in time of their affliction.
