J. B. Doctor, who has been making his home with his
son, L. J. Doctor, 14 Sixth Avenue, South, passed
away Saturday night about 9:30 o'clock at the ripe
old age of 81 years. The deceased was a veteran of
the Civil War and has a host of friends in Oelwein
and this section of the state.
The funeral services will be held from the home at
10:30 Tuesday forenoon, conducted by Rev. Wade
and Ferguson. Burial will be in Woodlawn cemetery.
