ORAN (Special) --- Mrs. Edith Rundle, 94, died
Tuesday, May 4 at Sumner Community Hospital.

Edith, the daughter of Fred A. Kulow and
Christina Luke Kulow was born Feb. 19, 1877
in New York State. She came to Iowa as a child
and settled with her family at Dubuque. The
family moved to Oran in 1902. She was a member
of the First Presbyterian Church. In 1906, she was
united in marriage to Robert W. Rundle at Sumner.
Her husband preceded her in death in 1924, a son
Russell in 1950 and daughter, Dorothy in 1966.

Survivors include one son, Richard of Oran; a
daughter, Mrs. Earl Shippy (Marie) of Oran; eight
grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.

Pallbearers were nephews, Robert Rundle, John
Rundle, Kenneth Becker, William Ardren, Larry
Otto and Fay Peck.

Burial was in the Grove Hill cemetery west of
Oran on Highway 3.
