Dennis L. Muchow, 69, died January 8, 2011 at Palmer Lutheran Hospital in West Union. He was born January 25, 1941 to Ruby (Cornish) and Guy (Soup) Muchow in Fayette County.
Dennis attended elementary and junior high school in Clermont and graduated from Valley High School of Elgin in 1959. He married in 1967 and to this union one daughter was born. Dennis worked for Elscheimer’s Meat Products of West Union, Transco Railroad Products of Oelwein, and he retired from DURA manufacturing of West Union when the plant recently closed.
Dennis was a member of the Fredricksburg Sportsman’s Club, Prairie Rod & Gun Club, and enjoyed attending gun shows. He also enjoyed coins, electronics, ham radio, target shooting with friends, and hunting.
Dennis was preceded in death by his parents and his daughter, Diane. He is survived by his son-in-law, James Batterson, several cousins, and close friends.
