— J. W. Russell, a resident of the 4th
Ward for a number of years, past, residing
on South Frederick street, died
Sunday morning after an illness of
several months. Deceased was an old
soldier and had been in poor health for
several years. The funeral services
were held Tuesday at the M. E. church
Revs. Ross Triem and Zabriskie officiating.
Burial was made at Mudville
cemetery, southeast of the city, he
having been a former resident of that
vicinity.
