Marian Bertha Gray, age 78, of Arlington, Iowa died Saturday, March 11, 1989 at the Good Samaritan Center in Waukon, Iowa. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 14 at United Methodist Church in Fayette, Iowa. Burial was in Grandview Cemetery, Fayette. Becker-Milnes Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Marian was born July 15, 1910 in Edgewood, Iowa to Lysander and Bertha (Peters) Sackett. She graduated from Arlington High School. She married Ralph Gray June 12, 1937 in Arlington. She moved to Waukon, Iowa in 1984 after living in the Arlington and Fayette area most of her life. She was a homemaker and a member of First Methodist Church in Fayette, Iowa.

Preceding her in death were her husband who died March 4, 1967, 2 brothers, and 3 sisters.

Survivors include a son Donald Gray of Waukon, Iowa; a daughter, Mrs. Donna Lau of Thorp, Wisconsin; 7 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and a brother Berdette Sackett of Oelwein, Iowa.
