On Friday afternoon at three o'clock
Laura Linder died. Although she has
been ailing for sometime it was not
thought she would pass away so soon,
and the blow fell heavily on her folks.
Her mother was so prostrated that she
was unable to attend the funeral,
which took place Sunday in the church
at half past two. Laura was much
admired by all who knew her for her
kind and gentle disposition, and much
sympathy was shown by her young
friends generally. An unusual number
of young people attended the funeral.
The casket was borne by six young
men. Services were conducted by
Rev. Bailey, who made some very appropriate
remarks upon death. Laura
was about 19 years of age, and leaves
three sisters, one brother, father and
mother to mourn her loss.
