Mrs. Margaret Nichols of
Hazleton died shortly after
midnight at Mercy Hospital
in Oelwein.
Mrs. Nichols, 66, was a resident
of Hazleton for 34 years. She was
a member of Trinity Methodist
Church of Hazleton and a
member of the Ruth Circle of the
Methodist Church.
Funeral services will be held
Thursday at 2 p.m. at the
Methodist Church in Hazleton.
Friends may call at the Brant-
Kerns Chapel in Oelwein after
noon on Wednesday until noon
Thursday when the body will be
removed to the church until the
hour of the services. Burial will
be in Hazleton cemetery.
Surviving are her husband,
Robert Nichols of Hazleton; two
sons, Donald Nichols of Cedar
Falls and Dean Nichols of
Hazleton; one daughter, Mrs. C.
R. (Helen) Cummings of Port
Williams, Ohio; 10 grandchildren;
two great grandchildren;
one brother, Gordon
Neil of Fairbank; three sisters,
Mrs. Richard (Helen) Snyder of
Fairbank, Mrs. Lester (Dorothy)
Weber of Oelwein and Mrs.
Frank (Mary) Miller of Fairbank;
and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by
her parents, three sisters and one
brother.
