HAZLETON (Special) — Word has
been received of the death of a former
Hazleton resident, Robert Nichols. Mr
Nichols, 82, died at the Miami Valley
Hospital in Toledo, Ohio, Sunday, Oct.
18.
Before his retirement, Mr. Nichols
owned and operated Nichols Plumbing
and Heating in Hazleton. He was a
member of Waterfall lodge and Iowa
chapter, Order of Eastern Star
Hazleton.
Survivors include his wife. Maurene,
Blonchester, Ohio; a daughter, Helen
Kay Cummings, Port William, Ohio;
two sons, Donald of Cedar Falls and
Dean; and two sisters, Esther Betts,
Oelwein, and Helen Breitsprecher,
Hazleton; one brother, Raymond,
Hubbard. Eleven grandchildren and
nine great-grandchildren also survive
Funeral services and burial will be in
Ohio
